I shot the lower target today in our Club’s 100 yard reduced course match. I was using AA4064, a short cut version of IMR 4064.

While I get excellent groups with the stuff in the .223, it is only in my 24” Krieger barrel that I get the velocities I want. Krieger barrels are very tight. I can only get 24.0 grains of AA4064 in a .223 case and in my Rock River NM AR15, the velocities were just not what I wanted.

AA #7 is my favorite heavy 124 and 147g 9mm load. Clean. very accurate, not real loud. Some people like it because it fills up the case quite a bit making double loads easier to identify. #9 is my second favorite 357 powder after IMR4227.

I notice that Accurate Powders are not mentioned very often here.
:scrutiny: I have raved many times here about AA#5 and #9. Perhaps I'm on your ignore list, or maybe you are not paying attention :banghead:

No.2, No.7, No.9, and 1680 on my shelf.

Except for No.9, they will all have a permanent spot.

No.2 - just as good as Bullseye without all the filth.
No.7 - great in the .40S&W, very clean, and low flash to boot.
No.9 - I like 2400 better.
1680 - Tops in the 7.62x39 and rifle barreled .357 Max's

I may give some of the rifle powders a try, but I'm pretty stuck on my IMR and Hodgdon stick powders.
