I purchased some reloading supplies the other day and I decided to try some new (to me) bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. I picked up a box of 500 140gr "Zinger" bullets (BHN 18) for my .38/.357

Has anyone used these specific bullets? The powders I have on hand are:
Unique, 2400, Blue Dot, Titegroup, 231, AA#9, VV N320, and 296.

I'm fairly comfortable using all of these with the possible exception of 296 (I just haven't used a whole lot of it).

I am finding very little published data for the cast 140 bullet (of any style) so any information you can pass along is welcome.

As a matter of fact...Yes...A couple of years ago I ask Missouri Bullet if they could make the 140 grain (BHN 18) bullet. And lo and behold they did.

I have had good luck using 4.0 grains of W-231 for the .38 Special and 4.5 grains of Clays for .357 mag.

The W-231 should do fine for the .357 mag too.

Thanks Bushmaster, I'm very interested in giving these bullets a try. I load both .38 Spl and .357 Mag with the .38s being the majority (probably 6 to 1) loaded.

A quality bullet and accurate too. Fast delivery service also. You'll like doing business with Missouri Bullet.

Wonder if I'll get some "FREE" bullets for this advertisement????
