Hi all! a lady I have known for a long time stopped by tonight with a shotgun for me to look at. it turned out to be a Mitchell High Standard pump action 12 ga., in excellent+ condition. it is a model 9113-B, extended magazine & I'm guessing 18" barrel.Mftd by A.C.P. Philippines stamped on one side of barrel. other side, IMPTD by A.P.I. San Mateo CA. has Mitchell High Standard stamped on side of receiver. blued finish, rifle-style sights, plain wood furniture, engine-turned finish on bolt carrier group. super-nice looking shotgun, very smooth cycling, decent balance, she said she thought it only had like 3 or 4 rounds fired through it, & the condition supports her claim. SO, really cool little shotgun all set up for home defense. surely not in the same class as a Ithaca 37 or a Winchester model12, but seems like a rather useful tool anyways. has anyone here owned one of these or know much about them? she would like to sell it, but I really don't know what to offer her. any assistance in regards to value? thanks!!! A.J.
