Mitchell M16/AR .22lr

    Mitchell M16/AR15 .22lr
    does anyone have any info on this gun... made by Mitchell and it looks exactly like an AR 15... i can't even find a picture on google... i've found some pictures of a Mitchell AR-180 copy in .22lr... but the one i remember looked exactly like a M16/AR15... any info or pics at all would be great... thanks

    it took some searching but i've discovered i'm looking for a ap-74 or a Mitchell A1/22...

    The Mitchell Arms M16 copy was called the M16A3/22LR. They also made a CAR/M4 copy called the M16A3CAR. The AP-74 was manufactured in Italy and imported by Mitchell.

    ARMSCOR still makes a copy like the Mitchell M16. They are manufactured in the Phillippines.

    From what I remember, the Mitchell .22LR line didn't have a very good reputation for reliability.
