I got a chance to see some of the major AR builders. Bushmaster said 1.5 MOA on their rifles factory garauntee. Not stellar for the .223, but that was a maximum standard. RRA labels all their rifles with an MOA standard, and are by comparison very good, at least on paper. DPMS gave me an excuse.
RRA by far had the best garauntee out there, and for a battle rifle, 1.5 is plenty accurate. Remember that that's stock, so you can improve it with, say, handloads, aftermarket corrections and parts, a little gunsmithing, you get the idea.
And this may be irrelevant, but they also have the best dealer prices going, last time I checked.
