i just got a very nice model 12 in 12ga with a 30 inch full choke barrel and a model 97 in 12ga with a 30 inch barrel and full choke. i had to work for them,but their home now. eastbank.

so far just look at them and admire the craftmenship, i,ll take them on classic hunts for rabbits,ringnecks,grouse and maybe turkey with lead shot. we don,t have meny ducks here. i have meny other shotguns,brownings,remingtoms,stevens,savages,ithaca,s and a few odd balls,but the older ones get my blood flowing. eastbank.

I know what you mean about those classic American shotguns:
Someday I hope to get a Model 1897 half as nice as yours in factory riot configuration.
(BTW Model 12 second from the bottom was sold to make room for the Model 12 on the top)

bushmaster,what a nice wall of winchesters, i have three other model 12,s and one other 97,but the last model 12 and model 97 are by far the nicist. so far i only have six model 12,s. i,m working on a model 12 in 28ga ,but he is not ready to sell yet.i hope i live lone enough to get it. XXwin, i looked in midas,s win. book,but he is off on the dates. he says they were made in the late 40,s. eastbank.
