Nice looking old Masterpiece. Zero holster wear on it. $500.00 to me would be a good, fair price to pay for an excellent looking old classic.
You did good.
I have plenty of .357s but no exclusive .38 special so this fills the bill but I might look for a model 15Nah, a young, tough looking fellow such as yourself ought by rights to have a three five seven instead. You and me, we could work out a deal. Except that I suspect you have more than a inkling of what you have in your hands.
From what I can tell they look just like all of the other Goncalo Alves target grips I have , I like em.Howdy
Yes, I think you did very well.
That is what I paid for this Model 14-3 a few years ago. I was tickled pink when the dealer accepted my offer of $500 instead of the $550 it was marked at. This one left the factory in February of 1974. This was one of those deals where after the deal was struck the dealer said "I think I have the box out back".
As you can see, mine is wearing Magna grips. Yours is wearing what were called in those days Oversized Target grips.

Do your grips look like walnut, or like the Goncalo alves the grips on my Model 19-3 were made from?
