Pardon me if this has been tried...... but if we can get 2% of the posts the 642 club has :) ........ then it will be worth it!

I am an auto man....... but I must admit, the 60 gets carried the most.

Here is mine.........

This is the perfect thread for me. The only J-Frames I got are 2 model 60s. I'll post some picks later.

I have a no dash 60 i bought from a friend that wasn't renewing his FFL. He bought it from a dealer at a gun show in Vegas that bought it from a collector that bought it from an estate sale....anyways it looked like it had never been fired.

I had an action job done, smoothed the trigger, bobbed the hammer, converted to D/A only, installed an orange front sight insert and added Hogue Goncolo Alves grips. Someday i'll have it engraved.

The model 60 was my first .38 revolver. I gave it to my oldest son as I prefer the "hammerless" (older ones). The very first time I shot it I hit a 6' rattler in the head.

I purchased my 3" S&W M60-4 (.38Spl) NIB back in 1993. It is not utilized as a CCW gun but rather as a backwoods plinker & range gun. This little S&W J frame has given me and my son many hours of fun time over the years and continues to do so. :)

Hey Greg......

You picture looks like one I took and posted yesterday in the "Revolver Porn" thread.
Check it out...... great photographic minds think alike!

I bought one last fall. It showed up in my local dealer's used handgun case and "followed me home."
It's a 60 in .38 Special with no dash and it likes my .38 handloads quite well. I usually put Uncle Mike's Boot Grips on my snubs, but the Herrets that came on the M60 feel good and may be one of the reasons the gun shoots so accurately.

I haven't carried the M60 yet due to a brace of M649s and an M38 that usually fulfill that duty.

My 3" Mod. 60 on a Simply Rugged holster. Sweet!

I just posted this in another thread but I'll do it again just to keep the mementum going. This my 60-14. It's the best shooting snubby I've owned so I dressed it up with some polishing and combat grips. It's a keeper!

JP,
Right on :D and that's a great thread; thanks for pointing it out:) Gotta love the speed strips!
Regards,
Greg

markk,

That is some nice wood in those grips

Is that an HI kerambit lurking there in the background?

Regards,
Greg

Those are the standard rosewood Ladysmith grips and yes that sure is a HI kerambit shining away there. (I don't know which I find sexier...the gun or the knife...)
