A Safariland 6378-278-411 ALS type holster was available for the Sig Pro/2022 so I ordered it yet I see that Sig had produced 3 variants of this one with a Picatinny and generic light rail listing which is the only model that Safariland produces for this pistol. This 6378 does not seem to have the right dimensions for the Picatinny rail.

It looks to be dimensionaly off by maybe 1/16" due to where the rail hits the lower spacer pushing the slide up into the lock. The slide by itself when inserted will be in the right spot for the ALS to close on the ejection port. The frame itself also slides in and fits but due to that lower spacer, it dimensionally makes the assembled pistol to tall to be inserted by that approximate 1/16".

Thoughts on modding it or send it back and look for another? That's the one issue with the 2022 is less holster choices.

Removed the lower guide thinking that allowing this clearance would allow it to fit. Nope, the holster is still to narrow to work even though it is designated for the model but not for this particular variant. Oh well...

I noticed when searching their site they list no holsters for a particular weapon, but when you dig deep into their catalog they list them producing some to fit.....but some are next to impossible to find on net but at least you have the part number.

I sent them an email and am waiting a response, will try and call. I'm hoping that a 226 or 229 holster with TLR-1 will fit the 2022 with TLR-1. Went through a variety of YT videos about other pistols that fit in holsters and was pretty amazed at some compatibilities. The S&W 6906 fits and locks in nicely with the Safariland 7378 for the HK P2000. The slide mounted decocker rubs the top a bit so if that area was shaved it would be spot on. There is the Blackhawk Omnivore but IDK on that one.

I would try these list's. They are direct from safariland.

I just picked up an ALS holster. I'm NOT impressed on performance with a pistol having front cocking serrations. They interfere with mechanical release on the way out and its not a smooth draw at all.

I put in an order for one and the turn-around at this point is ~50 days. The one I have for the HK P2000 I like, quite smooth in-out.
