Modifying takedown procedure sw40gve

I have decided that I am more than uncomfortable with having to pull the trigger as part of the take down procedure on firearms. What I would like to know is if there is some process by which I can permanently eliminate this step without damaging the weapon? Is this reasonable, possible or practical? I have an average experience with common tools, but I am likely to take it to a gunsmith if any instructions are more complex than 'remove screw A'.

The weapon is a sw40gve. (the sigma knockoffs)

What other effects would a modification like this have? Am I more likely to shoot the barrel downrange?

These may seem like simple questions, but I am not a gunsmith. Please remember this in your comments.

I don't intend on selling it unless this modification is impossible or unreasonable. It fits me well.

Sir, none of my other firearms have the trigger pull as part of the take down procedure. When doing cleaning, this trips me up every time. I am going for consistency in procedures. I did not realize how much this would bug me until after I have owned it for a while.
I remain curious if the firearm can be brought in line with my comfort level, meaning no trigger pull for the take down.


Of course, I check to verify that the weapon is clear before every takedown, and every other time I touch it. 8 years total firearms handling and no ND/ADs.

So, the question remains. Is it practical, possible or reasonable to modify a sw40gve to have a takedown procedure without the trigger pull?
