Mojo Sight for Milsurp Rifles?

I have a Mosin Nagant 91-30 in very good condition with an "almost" bright bore. It is a good shooter and I shoot it well. I want to use it deer hunting this year to irritate a couple gun snobs (Weatherby worshipers) in my camp.

I can tell you right now that the sights on that rifle work, but they are crude and thick.

I stumbled across the Mojo micro click sight on the web, and it looks like it may fit the bill. It does not require that I modify the rifle in any way, and that is what I need because I will not permanently modify this rifle in any way.....

Does anyone have experience with this company or these products? I plan on changing both the front and rear sight. $80 is what they are asking, that is the value of the rifle so I am hesitant to buy if they are not a big improvement over the stock ones.

I replaced my 91/30's rear sight with a Mojo. I like it. Prior to that I had to have a piece of wire insulation on the front sight which made it very thick. The rifle shot way too high w/o the wire insulation.

The Mojo is adjustible enough that you can take the insulation off! That helps plus a Mojo is much easier to sight that the tiny notch on the Mosin's rear sight.

I have a mojo on both a mosin and a K98. Love it on both. It is a huge upgrade from the standard sights IMO.

Replaced my AK sight with a Mojo, was pretty pleased with it, I like peep sights. Then I realized that I was much quicker, and it was easier to shoot from improvised positions in 3gun with the standard open sights and switched back.

They are good products, and for your uses they will probably work.

Put a set on my Yugo 24/47 and it worked fantastic. Sight it in and you're golden.

I have the Mojo click sight on my Mosin. A beautiful sight that works great. I took velocity measurements with my handload then printed out a click chart for the Mosin. Worked great on a 12"x12" plate out to 200 yards. At 300 hits were possible but the front sight was thick enough to obscure the target entirely.

When I big game hunt, I pride myself on quick humane kills with minimal damage to the carcass. This means I need to pick my shots and place them carefully. I do not think I could place my shots very carefully out past 75 yards or so with the military style sights. I am sure some guys can pick fleas with them, but I know my limitations. A blown apart front shoulder or tracking a gut shot animal is a fail in my book. If it happens from one of my bullets, I feel like an idiot.

The whole point of this little venture is to show a few guys that they are underachieving in the marksmanship department, and it AIN'T THEIR GUN. If I gotta help track another weak blood trail till midnight from someone else making a sloppy 50 yard shot, I am gonna go back to the state land and let these guys blast away on their own.

We all make mistakes, we all miss, but this is getting crazy!
