They're close to the original bullets for the Kerr revolver. They're not as odd looking as the .36 Richmond Laboratories bullets. These were made with an Era's Gone mold.

I load powder, then a .460” .062” card wad. Then that skinny body drops into the chamber and will then rotate under the rammer like a round ball. I like them so far.

Except that recovered bullets show that the rebated section obdurates upon firing and expands to fit the bore. In other words, it’s just like a conventional bullet.

I cast a lot for BP. You want the lead up to 800F and preheat your mold. The Lee 6 banger will be fine, but I think the best for this are the Lyman 4 bangers. They are heavy, but once they are up to temp they can just go and go.
