Please share your experiences with the Monarch brand .223 ammo with soft points loaded in brass cases such as sold at Academy Sports. Any good? Reloadable? Comments? Thanks.

i've shot a good bit of it in my AR's functions fine great for plinking i have saved all the brass i havn't reloaded any of it though

I have tried these for varmit sniping and they work the same as the higher priced stuff. Function and cycling problems were non-existant and they leave quite the exit wound on pesky critters. I shot at ranges of 50-175 yards max with great accuracy.

All of Monarch's stuff is good in my opinion, even the steel case stuff, I buy the pistol ammo for range/plinking/practice use all the time at my local Academy's and never had a problem. Sometimes I have to drive to several Academy's to get what I need, it sells fast.
