Moore – N – Moore Sporting Clays: Review and Pictures
Moore – N – Moore Sporting Clays is located in the North West corner of the greater Los Angeles metro area, near the 210 & 118. They hold a fun shoot on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
I had never been here before and decided to attend this month’s shoot. All I can say is WHAT A GREAT EVENT!!!
Instead of shooting 5 pairs at each station, each station has an “A†and “B†shooting area. You shoot a single, then a report pair, then a true pair from shooting position “A†then the same thing from position “Bâ€. It’s the same machines, just from different shooting positions. So instead of having 10 stations, it’s like having 20. I had never seen this before, but it was GREAT.
The entry fee ($65) included lunch. Not the same old burgers and hot dogs, but prime rib, baked potatoes, salad, side dishes and dessert. It was the best meal I’ve ever had at a shooting event. They also have a 5-stand event.
After the shooting was done, they held a raffle and gave out the prizes. I didn’t win anything, but shot the best round of my life, had a great time and made some new friends. All I can say is, don’t miss next month’s event. I won’t.
