Was looking at ammo sales online and a random thought hit me. I've heard of guys shooting 32 S&W or 32 S&W long (can't remember which) out of nagant revolvers due to ammo cost and availability. If that is truly safe would that then mean that a guy could shoot 7.62 nagant ammo out of a 327 revolver without exceeding pressures limits? I'm seeing the OAL of nagant ammo is .06" longer than 327 and after the brass is fired I have no idea how long the brass stretches. Would that be enough to bind a cylinder? This isn't a question of why, just if it is possible.
