Because I'm bored. Quality isn't great due to the poor lighting in my apartment. one of these days I'll take it outside and the pics will be much sharper.

The scope is a Valdada M1 4x. Heavy, rugged as hell, and with a neat illuminated reticule. It has a ballistic cam set for 168 grain .308, but I'll be shooting primarily 147 grain ball out of a 16" barrel. (Actually, ball from a short barrel might have velocity close to 168 grain from a long barrel...)

I learned something useful from taking these photos.

See, I haven't fired my carbine yet, nor have I done so with the scope mounted. When I installed the para rear sight, I thought I'd have to get high rings to clear the sight assembly.

However, the line-of-sight is low enough over the bore that even the rear sight with the wings won't interfere with the sight picture of the optic. This won't work for the Valdada scope unless I remove the rubber eyepiece, but there are other scopes I'm interested in.
