Mosin 91/30 Scout scope mounts?

I've got a 91/30 that I'd like to try a scout scope mount on. I have seen several different ones made. Anyone have any opinions on this one from makarov.com? http://www.makarov.com/cart/mosmount.htm

It replaces the rear sight base and clamps to the dovetail. Looks like it would give you a lower sight plane than those that just replace the rear sight blade. I've also seen some on ebay for $15-20 shipped, but not sure if they're decent. Would like to keep the mount cost under $40.

Im looking at a JG Sales catalog right in front of me, the ad reads " Mosin-Nagant Scope Mount; Complete with 1 inch rings, Bent Bolt Conversion Kit and drill and taps, requires drilling and tapping, receiver" $39.95

I dont think thats a bad deal, ive ordered plenty of ammo from them for my Nagant, and they have good service.

I tried one of the $13.00 MN scout scope mounts from CDNN and it was junk. The material was so soft that the threads stripped just trying to snug it up. As such, it would never hold zero.

It's the only way to go IMO.

It IS a bad deal. I've heard of people having those bolt handles fall off. And it looks terrible.
