LGS has a Mosin Nagant in 7.62x54R with accessories (bayonet, cleaning pouch, some kind of tool). The out the door price is $140.

The metal is good (slathered in cosmoline) and the wood is 96%.

They also currently have a good supply of ammo.

What do you think, deal or no deal?

Grab it. They are out of stock everywhere. Sure, you could wait, order one online for $100+ $24 shipping, + transfer (unless you have c&R). That puts you up to about $150. Grab it.

Deal. Grab it.I am glad I grabbed a few back when big 5 was selling them cheap. Even then weather or not they came with accessories was a toss up, I never see them in big 5 anymore.

It's user preference, but I like the pre-war ones, the receiver has a little more machining compared to the round ones manf. during wartime. If it's a 1939 it should have a scalloped receiver. Look up receiver types at 7.62x54r.net, good site for all mosin ?'s.

No shipping or transfer? $150 is a good deal nowadays.

If I saw one like that it would go home with me. The gunshow I was at yesterday didn't have any Mosin's for under $220.
