moss 12 bullpup

I was just wondering what some of you good people thought of the mossberg 12 gauge bullpup,on home defence,on field use, please be as honest as possable. mando

the mossy bullpup sucks. that said, i have a high standard m10b that is really super. it's the only bullpup semi that i believe is currently available [used, out of production] some of them have reliability issues so you have to be careful. if you want a current production gun i would go with the standars config 870 or 590.

I think a good bullpup shotgun would have a lot of pluses for home defense. However the Mossberg version isn't it.

Yeah, I looked at getting some. $550 last price check. Then I handled one. They blew chewy chunks. Plus I was a lefty. No fun.

Now if someone would just make a bullpup stock kit for the old Ithaca Model '37, now that might have some promise...

Bullpup shotguns have problems, balance is atrocious, triggers are atrocious, speedloads are nonexistent, etc. Yes, they are short and handy in overall length. But that's about it.

wow, to be honest I have had to use the pup in real time defence,it has not failed me,I have owned it for more than 12 years,and for some reason just the look has stoped would be theifs in their tracks,I've shot it useing 3in 00 magnum,3in sluggs,and handloads,the only thing I dislike about it is the sights,they suck more than a wet vac,is there any replacement sights available? I can still shoot very very well with it,I can hit targets at 80 yards with sluggs and blow the heads off copperheads with buck up to 20 yards,but I would still like to replace the sights to get super dead on targeting.
