hello, i have a question about a rifle, a mossberg .22 i bought at Wal-Mart for $90.oo it is called a Plinkster. Has anyone ever shot or owned one?

i have before, its alright
personally I didn't like it, too lightweight, for a smaller child it would be just fine and I think that is the intended target audience for them, IMHO
did you buy up some extra mags, wally world should have them

I am looking for a .22 too and have been considering a Mossberg.
Anyone have a recommendation for a .22 that is bolt action and tube fed?

marlin, savage, remington, all the major american companies make one basically, for a brand new one, walmart and academy are 2 places to try, I know you have Walmart somewhere nearby, if you don't have an academy, Im sure theres somewhere else as an alternative
I just recently picked up a cheapo pawn shop stevens/savage bolt action tube fed and its been tons of fun thus far for a rifle twice my age, very happy with the 35 bucks I paid for it, so you might want to canvas the pawnshops and see if you can pick up a good used one, heres a pic of mine
threw a cheap airgun scope on it for now, Im trying to decide what kind of decent scope to put on it, its sad the scope will cost more than the gun but you can't go wrong with a good scope, if I ever sell the rifle for another .22 I will have a great scope already
