I am thinking of buying a Rossi rs22, I always try to keep buffers and other parts for my auto guns, I have heard the rs 22 is like a Mossberg plinkster 702 and I have a few for a mossberg 702. Does anyone know if buffers, extractors and recoil bolt spring from a Mossberg 702 will fit a Rossi RS 22? I have heard they are built by the same company but I don't know for sure. thanks for any help.

Try looking at parts schematics and listings online for your Rossi from Numrich aka gun parts corporation. They usually have the same parts number on items that fit multiple models under different names.
They don't have anything on the Rossi, I will check other sites. thanks
they certainly LOOK the same besides the stock, and from my limited research im inclined to say they ARE the same, but again this is just interwebz searching. Might want to just pull it apart and measure the parts them selves. Id actually bet that a fair number of 795s bolt parts would work in either also.

Mossberg 702 and Rossi RS22 are a "product improved" version of the MagTech 7022 discontinued a few years ago.
702, RS22, and 7022 are/were made by CBC of Brasil which has partnered with S&B of Czech Republic among others.
The 7022, 702 and RS22 kinda copy the style of the Marlin 795 but 795 parts don't fit. Kinda like they thought they liked the idea and syle behind the Marlin 795 but did not want to get into trademark infringement.
