Hello, I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun and the trigger guard/housing has broken tabs on the front inside portion of it. These broken tabs cause the trigger housing to slouch down and the forend won't lock into place when racked forward.
I was searching ebay/brownells/midway usa/numrich for a new trigger housing. The downside is they are about 70-100 bucks and everyone is out of stock. However on Numrich's site I stumbled upon this:
http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/56140A.htm
It is a repair kit for the trigger guard and I'm not sure what exactly its supposed to repair. Does anyone know? Has anyone ever bought one? If so please let me know. The picture displayed on the link doesn't really give much insight as to what exactly it repairs.
Thanks
Steve
