mossberg 500a

looking at a mossberg 500a 12 gauge camo looks like about a 28 in barell and a sling. what is it worth the guy wants me to make an offer and i don't want to insault him. it is 95% i would say. please help

they look to be getting about 150-200 on gun broker. so. 175?

I think, brand new, they're around 300-350, so 175 sounds like a good offer. The mossy oak stuff is a little more than OEM Mossberg camo, gotta pay the trade mark. Mine's OEM camo. I got it whole sale 15 years ago for about $190.

That price sounds like a Maverick, Mossberg's cheap brand. It's a Mossberg, but I think had a crossbolt safety and is built in their Eagle Pass, Texas plant. Or, he might have stumbled into a good sale at Walmart, don't know.

Normal 500 price would be around 200-220 and add 100 bucks for the camo finish.

I'll admitt to living in an area where used pump shotguns are about as cheap as they get it seems .

I think $150 is plenty good an offer. I can get used Mossbergs and Remington 870's for that easily around here.

PS: I just sold my Mossberg 20ga. with both a screw in choke shot barrel and a iron sighted smooth bore slug barrel for $150 about 2 weeks ago.

I just paid $200 for my mossberg 500A brand new from Walmart. The camo ones weren't much more. IIRC $20-$30 more. I'd offer him $150.

well just gave him $150 for it he is happy and im happy and when i give it to my son for his birthday he'll be happy
