I have a Mossberg 88 i was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the disconnect so i can hold down the trigger and pump the action to fire rapidly.
*disclaimer* Im not saying i intend to do this, Im just curious how it is done:D
Besides, the Mossberg is only used for seasonal enemies...you know...pumpkins:evil:

i dont believe it would be Illegal to do such a converstion... probibly not advisable. but not illegal. plenty of shotguns out there, who were designed to do so, can be pumped and fired like that

I am withdrawing my earlier post here and will do a PM with info.

There were a few shotguns made that way, but even fewer people that could run them accurately. I have tried that with an 1897 Winchester "Trench Gun", but anything after shot #1 wasn't worth a hoot in Hades on putting lead on target.

Some of the early Ithaca 37's could do that, too ("Slam Fire"*** if you held the trigger while pumping), but again, not something I could do well.

***Not actually a "Slam Fire" by pure definition, since that is what the operator wanted to do; True "Slam Fire" is unintended, such as with ammo with over-sensitive or not properly placed primers, or guns where the firing pin is stuck out, protruding from the bolt, so that when the bolt "Slams Closed", the weapon fires...Slam Fire.
