Love my 9200 but hate that stupd action button that must be pressed in order to get a shell past the loading gate. Other shotguns do not have the "locked" gate. Is there any way to unlock the loading gate and have it free to load shells but still have the button to unlock the bolt to let it slam home ????

IRRITATING IS PUTTING IT LIGHTLY

Still have no solution to rid myself of the button. Hoping to get an answer by the time clays season is over. Need to strip it to refinish the receiver so any work will be done then.

Let us know what you find out. I'd like to disable mina as well. Do you have someone in mind who works on 9200A1s? Mine has very frequent failure to feeds where the shell hits the top of the chamber and sticks, requiring a tap of the charging handle to fully chamber. I can't tell if I need to polish the top of the chamber (too rough), replace the recoil spring (not strong enough), or replace the gas system (not recoiling fully, thus the spring isn't fully compressed). Ejects fine though. It is a damn fine gun, if I can just get it to work!
