Without any hesitation, my TC Contender. Pick your calibler. I have a .22, a 7mmTCU, and a .30-30 barrel for it. The .410 barrel don't count.
This gun will out shoot many rifles, MOA accuracy. Unlike the XPs, it doen't have a rifle stock with the butt cut off and it fits in an UM's shoulder holster. A M41 Smith ain't even close.
This thing will make one hole at 50 yards with that .22 barrel.
4" revolver....Taurus M66....1" groups .38 or .357 at 25 yards. I went through a Ruger SS, a Smith 19, and a Rossi 971 before I settled on that Taurus.
I have a Ruger P90 that can compete for accuracy with ANY make and model of .45 service gun, shoots one hole groups, but tosses the first out to make for an 1 1/2 group. Autos do that.
I have a Ruger Mk2 that shoots 1" at 50 yards benched with a 2x optic, like that one.
I have a Rossi 4" M511 kit gun that will put 6 rounds into a little over an inch at 25. That one's a favorite field carries.
Yadda, yadda. I like accurate firarms and while some of my carries ain't exactly MOA accurate, all are more accurate than most. For instance, I can put 5 rounds from my Kel Tec P11 into 3.5" at 25 yards. That's service gun accuracy from a pocket pistol. If it ain't accurate, I generally have no interest in it. That's why it took me some years to find the perfect 4" medium frame DA .357. I wanted it to be accurate with .357, but also .38. Not all are. I wanted the gun to outshoot my eye. I wasn't satisfied with 3" groups from that Ruger using .38 wadcutter. Fine, it shot 140 Speer .357s into an inch, I tried all manor of .38 loads and couldn't get it to do any better than 3". Not good enough for me. I wanted rabbit hunting accuracy since I saw the gun as a hiking handgun, hunting also gun, and like to take a rabbit for the pot now and then when the opportunity presents.
