It's hard to argue with the 1911 and BHP, except for one: the Colt Model M. Simply the most elegant pistol ever designed, IMHO.

Couldn't agree more with those choices!

Uhoh ...

Am I really the only one who really likes the look of a Glock 26 or 27?

I'm not a fan of their other ones, but those two did it to me.

All I see is the dreaded red X, so I thought I'd post this.
One of Mr. Brownings jewels IMHO.

That ammo pictured fed poorly in every .22 I own BTW.

Whilst I too like most of the guns mentioned and own a few of them, I am surprised no one mentioned what IMHO, is one of, if not, the sexiest and most asthetically appealing guns I have seen. It is the Browning BDA, in either chrome or blue finish.

I know it's sort of odd but I really like the way the AR-24 looks. Holy crap this picture is big.

For me it's either the Colt 1903 or the Browning 1910. That is also a B E A utiful Browning 1955.:what:

I've always put any glock in the ugliest list. :)

Any plastic gun is really an assault against the gunmakers art.

I don't think it's all that odd. The gun is an elegant looking cross between the CZ-75 and the SIG P210. They're not only beautiful autoloaders, but very ergonomic and practical. I have one, and I absolutely love the thing. The only beef I have with it is the nomenclature: "AR" for the original Armalite company, stood for "Automatic Rifle". I can understand why the present company would want to use the same tag for product identification, but still, naming a pistol, essentially, "Automatic Rifle twenty four" just seems ridiculous.

Its not mine, but PreBs are very cool.

I have to agree....The BDA/Beretta 84 and Pre B CZ-75s are also very attractive pistols! :)

Well, now I know how so many ugly men and women find a mate! I was gonna ask how any sane person could see a Glock as a beautiful creation, but then I got to thinking about how attached and appreciative I am of my Kel-tec PF9 and it's "good looks". :scrutiny:

I think the CZ 75B looks mighty nice.

But those "Baby Glocks" are just so darn cute....

1911's just look boring IMO.
It looks the same as any other Glock... just shorter. Like Hank Hill compared to his father, cut off at the shins.

You're not as observant as you might think.
There are subtle differences....

You didn't notice the chamfering on the the slide?
You didn't notice the absence of the light rail on the frame?
You didn't notice the grip extension in front and behind the magazine (so one's hand goes not get pinched between the magazine and frame when shooting)?
You didn't notice the different size guide rod end protruding from the slide?

No, all Glocks do not look the same if you take the time to really look at them.

This thread is suppose to be about aesthetically pleasing auto loaders.....I.E. Beautiful.
Judging from some of the pics in this thread, "beautiful" seems to be a very subjective quality.

Besides, Baby Glocks are beautiful in their own way.

Its beauty lies within its elegantly simple design....
Only what you need, and nothing that you don't need.

Walther P38 has always been appealing to me. I hard chromed a P1 I like it so much.
