Just got back from the Safari.

Was my timing for trophy hunting awkward or what!

Anyway, the trip was great.

I successfully hunted Eland, Kudu, Springbok, Impala, Warthog and Blue Wildebeest. Tikka T3, 7mm Rem Mag, Vortex Viper 2.5-10x32. Everything worked well.

Thanks for all the tips and advice!

Why the heck would one shoot a zebra? Not being an ass, but aren't they a stripped horse? The kudu look beautiful!

In addition to what H&Hhunter mentioned, the relationship of zebras to horses is much the same as wolves to dogs. They have significant differences in behavior and physiology. No one saddles up a zebra and wolves don't play directions from hand pointing are just a couple of the many differences. Unlike H&Hhunter, I have never tasted Zebra but if it is anything like horse it would not be bad. Tastiness would depend on the Zebra's diet and method of preparation.

with out the brush guard it would have been alot worse. no one hurt, we transfered all the gear on to the other three trucks and went north to hunt, leaving the donkied truck at a safe compond untill we came back and towed the damaged truck back to south africa. eastbank.
