Xavier, that's neat looking hand piece. Does it shoot good? How accurate is it? Would it be good to hunt with? Just real curious is all...

I would love to pull out and set up one like this....a dual 10/22 Gatling Gun. Not much noise but definately an attention getter.

C'mon guys! - Look at his original requests... the absolute answer is any of the revolvers available in 45-70 -- they just don't get more impractical or impressive than that!

LOL that's the truth. Had a buddy that had one. Emptied it one day then my buddy said "now reload it". Never shot it again.

sales pitch

Now, here is sales pitch for you:

Due to the weight of the gun, shooting the Zeliska is no problem for a skilled marksman.

There won’t be any permanent damage inflicted to your wrist.

Makes me wanna shoot it!

Does it have to be a handgun?

Years ago I had a sharps 45/120 typically loaded with 110gr of black pushing a 450gr paper patched projectile. Id take great delight in working out which way the wind was blowing then walk up wind from the snotty nosed benchrest shooters in our area. I'dTrip off a couple of rounds that would shake the whole shelter then watch the fog roll past these elitist clowns with their uppercrust attitudes. I got pretty used to the 1000yd stare. That was a great giggle.
If your dead set on a handgun take a look at the blackpowder era, something like the colt walkers or dragoons. These things really bellow.
As a joke a friend of mine showed up with a Walker fixed to a miniture scaled down artillary carrage he had built, and benched it (with strategically placed sand bags to make sure it stayed on the bench). Totally usless but a lot of fun.

If thats your handgun no wonder its such an attention getter :neener:

I once asked myself the very same question. I now own a Taurus Raging Bull in 454. It's way to big to carry, store bought ammo is as far as you can get from cheap as possible, and it usalyy scares the hell out of people on the range. And dare I say, I am so much more accurate with either my 1911 or one of my Glocks, it's sick. But in all honesty the fun factor is thru the roof. Just be carefull when you reload for the monster. Nothing is quite as attention getting as going to touch one off and getting a little wee pop noise and nothing else. I never knew such a small sound could be so scary. Magnum primers and near hot loads, always.

I'd give a vote to the CZ-52. I warned my friend I was going to fire the hangun that sounds like a rifle, touched one off, and he's like "Jesus Christ!!" Good times there. Not powerful, but the nagant revolver (russian 1895, not other belgian variants). Truth be told, I've had someone remark about it, said something to the effect of "isn't that that weird revolver that's really cheap to buy, and expensive to shoot?" Honestly, I can't keep a straight face and empty the cylinder, it's such a retarded gun I bust out laughing between shots.
