I was just reading the ugly guns thread and realized that while these are fun for a laugh I would rather drool over the most beautiful guns out there. Please include pics!

Actually too many gorgeous guns to name. So I will state pick any OLD S&W or Colt Revolver deeply blued with wood stocks.

Gov't Model of 1911 , blue with walnut stocks , Same for a BHP in 9mm.

These examples are used by the Gods of Gorgeous for defintion.

Yup. Good eye. The rear sight and spur hammer are Ted classics.

Five inch Pythons in Royal Blue, fifties style, look good to my eye.

I'm not the envious type, but Schmackey's 1911 posted above almost makes have thoughts like that.


Government Model in Royal Blue looks good to me too, with cocobolo stocks.

NIB Black-T finish on a SA Pro looks good to me too.

Gotta agree with PMDW, those P7 models are awsome. As far as a revolvers goes, I've always liked the classic lines of the single actions and up until recently had little eye for nickle or stainless. However, this all changed with this...

Wow--I really like the case-hardened look.

Thanks, Archer. I had to thin my collection considerably to get the Yost Colt, but it was worth it. (That makes it sound really expensive, but actually it didn't cost any more than a Wilson or Rock River. I'm hooked.)

I love Haken's Shadow grips on a CZ 75.

I also like how my Glock 24Ps slide turned out when I did a 2 tone Gun-Kote job on it and refinished the barrel in contrasting silver. I think it's about as good as a Glock can look
