Sorry but I don't know of ANYBODY that has a KelTec product that is happy with it. That includes coworkers, friends that have one or two that I have also shot....2 cents.

Well a PF-9 KelTec on hip P3AT is my pocket carry 4 P-32 carried by wife and Daughter's. My oldest is the P3AT around 12 yrs. Never 1st problem from any of them
I have never understood the dislike for KelTecs by some . My KT have been better pistols than the 3 Taurus I bought . They worked when my Kimber didn't ,Parord was POS , . So tell me again how bad KelTec are.

Me, I have several "popular" firearms. Made in numbers above 10 million units like the 1911. BUT I do not yet own a Kel Tek.

Ruger Precision Rifle is based on the "controversial" AR15 platform of rifles?! You wat m8? Aside from sharing the safety, grip, stock, and fore end there is absolutely nothing about these two rifles that even come close to each other. One is a bolt action rifle with a completely proprietary upper and lower receiver setup chambered in the .308 WIN family of cartridges and the other is the most common semi-automatic firearm in the US of A.

I WOULD believe that it is the second best selling bolt action in the US though. There is A LOT of valid reasons to buy one. Even I am looking at buying one!

The ammo is much easier to find than the gun. I can hop in my jeep and buy .22 mag ammo right now...I'll have it in 30 minutes. I haven't seen a PMR-30 for sale - anywhere - since April of last year. Not because they aren't selling, but because they sell so fast.

BUT I do not yet own a Kel Tek.

You are honestly missing out.

I own 5 and have gradually come to the conclusion that some of their guns are the best in the world. It wouldn't be hard to argue that the P11 is the best practical concealed carry gun made today. Not the best luxury gun, mind you, but I paid $220 for a hard chromed P11 and another $25 for a 12rd magazine. At about $250 mine has been 100% reliable with over 1000rds fired so far, it is accurate, easy to shoot, and it disappears into a pocket or belt holster.

I have one. I don't believe its the best selling bolt action because no one has them. Real hard to find guns. Ruger doesnt produce that many which is understandable given the price point. Going price on them is in the $1200-$1400 range when they are available.

Its certainly not based on the AR-15. It uses a few furniture parts from the AR and is styled like one. Thats about it.

I can understand that. Heck, I'm the same way with Taurus. It comes down to your personal experiences, your sensibilities, and...not sure of the word, but something like simpatico, your mental alignment with the design/designer.

If you are stuck in the old days, dont assume CBS is the most liberal anymore. That title has gone to two other outlets I can think of. When John Boehner invited in the Israeli PM to address congress without consulting the Whitehouse this was seen by the admin. and Dems as a complete insult to Obama. So I watched all five mainstream media outlets to see who would take the Obama spin and run it front page. Sure enough two outlets lead with stories which could ( for all purposes) have been written by Obama himself. However CBS did not. So at least on that issue they are not the worst, but it opened my eyes about who really is the propaganda arm in this country.

I have not seen any .22 MAG ammo for sale locally for 5 years or more. The .22 is starting to show up sporadically though. Glad I had some of each hoarded in the reloading cave for such times.


I would buy any brand of firearm IF the price was really good.
