hey guys, what state's concealed carry lisence is honored by the most other states and issues them to out of state residents? my Ga CC lisence is not honored by quite a few states that I regularly travel through (SC,WV,VA)

Florida's license is honored in Florida and 30 other states (not including Vermont and Alaska). So, with a Florida license, you can legally carry in 33 states, and yes, we issue no-resident licenses. :)

I believe Utah has the most with 31 or 33 and you don't need to be a resident to get one
This may not be the case anymore in the near future.

Michigan permits are honored by 35 states, including VT and AK. I think the AG (Mike Cox, hehehe) has some agreements that are pending that will bump up the number.

Actually, Utah just hired new staff at BCI to keep up with the demand for out-of state permits. They were so backlogged this summer I had to hand-carry paperwork in the get updates done while I was briefly in town, to make sure it got done.

Utah generates a bit of side income from out of state permits.

Michigan makes you good to go in 36 states now however you need to be a resident to get one.

And MI will only recognize out of state resident permits. In other
words if you attempt to CCW in MI on a non-resident permit (such as
someone from IL with a non-resident FL permit), then it's the same as
not having a license....

It's important to note that non-resident permits are not accepted by all states. For example: Colorado, Michigan, Florida, West Virginia, and New Hampshire all accept the Utah resident permit but not my Utah non-resident permit.
