I don't condone her actions but, I'll be damned if I can find any pity for anyone who rapes a child with or without a weapon.

Since the article implies that there is no doubt as to his guilt, the only thing I take exception to is the venue she chose. Thankfully it does not seem like anyone else was hurt and that the owner's place of business sustained only minor damage.

outstanding! allright! now THAT'S how to dispense justice to a rapist. stick him in jail for seven years, then burn him severely but not so bad he doesn't live for 11 days in excruciating pain.

err, i mean, how terrible! people should never take the law into their own hands.

seriously i'm a strong proponent of the "five minute rule" wherin family members - especially parents - are not accountable for their actions in the first five minutes after meeting the perpetrators of crimes against their minor children. think we could get it passed? i'm thinkin' az is a great place to start.

Build a man a fire and he'll stay warm for a night. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

    Sounds good to me.

It bad enough being a rapist, let alone a smart-assed rapist.

I think he got what he deserved.

    Pass from jail?

I'm still mulling over the part where this SOB got a pass from jail. And going back near the family's home? Sounds to me like he had it coming. I agree with Preacherman. He's still burning somewhere. I also don't think this was a case of mental ilness. He got what he had coming from a justly angry mother who had been greatly wronged.

Awesome. That is even better than shooting him.

For some reason I am reminded of mortal kombat.

That works for me. And she didn't even use {{horrors!}} a firearm.

He must have been only medium-rare, because he lived for 11 days.

...that he got only 9 years for the rape.

That's one krispy kritter who won't be raping anyone else.

It's difficult to blame her. Except that myself I'd have killed my daughter's rapist immediately and wouldn't have let him spend seven pleasant years in prison...

    What?!?
Noone on the THR complainging that the man didn't get a chance at rehabilitation? You know the man might not be at fault for the rape because he was probably molested as a child after every time he wet his bed and his mother probably didn't hold him enough. By setting him on fire, the vigilante robbed the man of his chance to become a better person and perhaps someday become a productive member of society.

    [/sarcasm]

Its too bad that justice like this isn't meted out more often.

    Gotta love Europe.

Woman holds on to her anger over her daughter's rape, and it's considered a mental problem.

Turning all rapist especially of young children into krispy critters would
"perhaps" slow the current trend of harm to kids. Just my opinion.
