I've only handled a Glock once before, but that little switch on the side, probably for taking the pistol apart, is in the up position indicating that the gun can be taken apart. but again I don't know crap about Glocks. just my WAG. (wild a** guess)

That's not it, you have to push that button (switch I call it) to the down position to take it apart.

Let's see who gets upset over this one. Wish I had my Hakan grips in. :(

RE the Glock, is it the stainless barrel? Not that there's anything "wrong" with that. Could just be well-worn too.

Nice posters guys, keep'm coming!

I also noticed the barrel as well as the guide rod. I'm not sure what is meant by "wrong".

I do not own this pistol, it was just a good quality picture I got from an image search. I might get one, to practice indoor draw-and-shoot stuff.

ETA- Shifty, do you have any experience with this kind of airsoft pistol? How does it feel/weigh/handle compared to the real thing, excluding recoil and noise of course!

i owned a custom KSC glock 19 replica, but i've never handled a real g19 so i cant say :p

from what i understand it shares identical external dimensions, and is within a few ounces of the real deal when equiped with a metal slide conversion (stock is plastic). recoil was rather severe i thought, much more than a .22, but again, mine was modified with the metal slide, stiffer springs and upgraded valves and the like. fits all glock holsters and accessories too!! lots of fun to assassinate soda cans with.

honestly though, including gas and pellets, compared to bulk 9mm ammo, its not much cheaper to shoot. and unless you leave them stock, they can quickly become as expensive as a real glock!!!

hope this helps www.airsplat.com

ROFL!!! Anyone who remembers the "1911 is better than glock because you can put a 1911 on a grill...." stuff should get a kick out that picture

Some of you will get this... Those who don't need to watch more Pro-Gun Television.
