Multi-chambering revolvers

Afternoon all, I'm looking for a 44-bore revolver that can handle a 44 Rem mag as well as larger loadings.

For example, the 460 S&W mag can shoot the 454 Casull and 45 Colt -- but what "parent chambering" could also handle a 44 mag?

Far as I know .445 supermag is it.


I wonder if a .44 mag could be run through a .444 Marlin???

Keep in mind that a .44 Mag will also safely chamber the .44 special. and .44 russian.

Depends on the .444 Marlin. My .444 in 10" for my T/C loves .44 Mag loads. Good thing too, since a .444 Marlin in a 10" barrel is killer on both ends!!
