There are so many great ones! I chose Hickok45. I watch 22plinkster and DemolitionRanch a lot as well. I like and watch 80% of the channels you listed!

Quite a few of them are good. I ran out of room before I got to: TheYankeeMarshal, tnoutdoors9, Vickers Tactical and some others...

I think hickok45 is so popular because he's a trained teacher and he really knows how to connect. He also has a wide breadth of knowledge and he's a good-old-boy without being anything close to a redneck.

I think Matt at DemolitionRanch is one of the coming stars. Great personality, smart and not full of himself.

Agree. Definitely more worthy of the list than some up there. MAC should be up there without question.

It's hard to have one favorite above any other particular one. But I do think TWANGnBANG is done very well and Cameron just sounds like he should be on TV.

I'm sub'd to 8 of the ones listed and many that are not listed here. TAOFLEDERMAUS is debatable as to being categorized as a "gun channel".

I have no favorite Youtube firearms-(or any other-) related channel.

I only very rarely watch a Youtube video.

The only thing on that list that I recognize is "hickok45" ... I have watched a couple of his videos over that past ~2 years.

EDIT: Correction: I did watch one by "Iraqveteran8888" within the past 2 months.

I really like FPS Russia for pure entertainment. There is just something about a crazy Russian that is fun. Miculek is fun to watch, and Demolition Ranch is too.

For actual reviews and information I like IraqVeteran8888. I have watched all the different channels at some point or another though.

I haven't watched very many from your list , but my favorite so far is highok45 because he covers so many different guns . I also enjoy Mike's video's , duelist1954 , he is great with the single action revolvers .

Hickok45 hands down. Don't know how or why his channel is so good, but I guess when you were an English teacher for decades, you know a little something about presentation.

In no particular order, my fav other youtube channels are:

FortuneCooki45LC- great channel for learning the basics and intermediate about reloading

Shootingthebull410- the best ammo testing channel around. Wish he'd start posting more.

LifeSizePotato- Channel for weird guns, mostly European.

Gunwebsites- A little too many videos of the same thing, but they're short and fun to watch.

nutnfancy- Long term, hard testing, deep insight. I use to not like Nutnfancy's reviewing style, the running and gunning, but came to appreciate it and his hard work that he does.

Tacticaldoodle- Not as deep as his dad's, but Doodle has good insight on guns with the common man's thinking.

Iraqveteran8888- This use to be a really good channel, but I think it's fallen in substance since Barry (RIP) died. Now it's much more political, which has a place on youtube, but it's not why I started watching. IV8888's stuff is so varied you don't know what their next video will bring. Will it be how far a person can throw a throwing star or how long can you shoot a 10 gauge shotgun until your shoulder is dislocated.

Gunblastdotcom-Another use to be really good channel, but has fallen a bit over the last year or so. Jeff seems to be perpetually ill now and the amount of videos seems to be focused more on the newest Ruger gun. I like Ruger too, but I like seeing other stuff.

Forgotten Weapons-Digging up the dirt on forgotten and not so forgotten guns alike.

Duelist1954- Just a great all around channel. While most of the guns Mike does videos about I'd never shoot or bother reloading for, I still enjoy watching his videos. I'd love to see Mike get his own cameraman, but I guess he outshoots so many people he no longer has friends.

capandball- The world of muzzleloading and black powder is always being added to and while a lot of that is because of European policies on guns, I think this channel is the best black powder channel on youtube. Capandball and Duelist1954 have done a lot for black powder shooting on youtube, so much so I think some of the above channels were compelled to do more videos on muzzleloaders.

I never really thought about the "why is hickok so good" I've seen people mentioning. It is the presentation and the connection...just can't put my finger on specifics to quantify. I don't get bored, or tune him out, or want to fast forward/jump ahead...and that is usually teh case with almost any video I watch anywhere else. I say go "shut the hell up and get to the point" *jumps ahead* *goes too* *closes video and gives up, but not with hickok.
