Really short version: I'm looking for a good plate carrier or chest rig that won't break the bank, but I'm willing to pay a little more for something good. I'd love to keep it under $100, but I don't think I'll cry too much if I go up to $120-$140. Anything $200 or up is out.

The REALLY LONG VERSION: (seriously, if you skip this part, you won't hurt my feelings)
When I move back to the PAC NW in September, I plan on getting back into 3 gun. I may even try to shoot a couple matches down here if I can find some that are relatively close by.

The thing is, I no longer own any support gear. I used to use a dirt cheap vest that I got mainly to see how I liked the vest/chest rig, but it got destroyed and repurposed. I've tried carrying stuff on my belt, but I'm not 100% sold on the "war belt" yet. I was hoping if I threw out some likes and dislikes in terms of how I envision setting up my gear, yall could point me in the right direction.

Critical Requirements:
- modular. I'm not planning on just shooting one rifle or one pistol, so anything with fixed magazine pouches that aren't like the HSGI Taco is out. I'm going to be using both my AR 15 in 223 and my FAL, so it would have to be able to either carry magazines for both, or the magazine pouches would have to be somewhat easy to swap out.

- comfortable enough. It's gotta hold things tight. The number one thing that drives me crazy is when I have something like a vest, or stuff on a belt, or a backpack, and it bounces. Almost everything else I can work around or man up and deal with, but I absolutely do not want my magazines bouncing up and down or side to side.

Strong Preferences
- I'd like to keep the separate number of pieces to a minimum. Having several thousand different pouches and compartments that can come on and off and be switched out is fine, but I'm trying to keep the actual belt/plate carrier/ chest rig to one or two pieces that come on and off.
- very similar to above, I would like it to be restroom friendly. By that, I mean even some parts of it take 29 minutes to don and doff, that's ok just so long as those parts can be left in place while I make a stop at the ol thunderbox.
- ease of maintainance. I sweat a lot, so whatever material it's made out of, it would be really nice if it wasn't too complicated/ time consuming to wash.

right now, I'm leaning more towards a plate carrier or chest rig for carrying all the rifle and shotgun gear, with a belt for the handgun stuff so I don't have to change too much around when I shoot USPSA.
