Murtha got in trouble, because finishing the mission was not a priority, not really part of his logic. He also claimed to be speaking for Pentagon personnel. I would like to follow the outcome of implicating his relationships at the Pentagon and hear about the staff's reaction. Somehow I am not sure he would get the familiar welcome when he walks in the next time. He will probably have 50 reporters with him the next time he visits troops in the hospital. Who said what to whom?

If Murtha was not calling for an immediate troop withdrawl, you can count Hillary Clinton as also being confuse about Murtha's intentions.

The New York Democrat said she respects Rep. Jack Murtha, D-Pa., the Vietnam veteran and hawkish ex-Marine who last week called for an immediate troop pullout. But she added: "I think that would cause more problems for us in America."
