Of course, this would only apply to guns in California. Also, the writing will have to be pretty small to on the muzzle. Even then, someone would have to get really close to read it.:D

HAHAHA! Thanks for all the input guys, my breakfast almost went through my nose! :D

The ones from Serbu are a little extreme, especially in my case. I admit having to wipe a big grin of my face though.

DoubleA, That might be a good idea. Something like a meaningful quote on the magazine floor plate.
Then it is decided, along with muzzle engravings, I would like to see any good gun quote as long as it would fit either on the muzzle or the magazine floor plate.
I found a few myself:

Right now I am still thinking in the direction of Molon Labe (in correct Greek, I share your opinion about that Courtgreen) or simply "GET SOME!" written on the muzzle.

As to the Werewolf being an ancient Egyptian God, okay if you say so. But I don't recall seeing any hieroglyphs depicting Thoth running around all ripped and aiming a pistol.

Again, Anubis, not Thoth. Jackal-headed, not bird-headed. A more modern interpretation, for sure, but the appearance and pose is there. Anubis is the Egyptian god of death, so it's quite fitting. He could be portrayed as half-human / half-jackal, all-jackal, or all-human.

As for humorous sayings:

It comes to you, as to us all. We're just waiting for the hammer to fall.

On a magazine floorplate: Open End Up

On the barrel:

FREE Lead Injections!

***hole Remover

Nice ones,

Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum,

Keep the Change,
Or,
"From my cold dead hands"

For we who grew up with Mr. Rogers: "Speedy delivery! Speedy delivery!".

Of course there's also: "Meow meow bye bye".

In all seriousness I do appreciate the humor in life and it's little ironic quirks. I would never consider them appropriate for a firearm however. Most owners I have met share a sensitivity for both disgression and the history of what firearms are capable of.

I will say I found the Biblical quote to be the best of both worlds, a friendly and disarming weapon.
