Congrats & welcome back.
Your turn came around while you were out. You now have to buy a round for the room, and enough ammo for the next event.:neener:

How was IDF basic?

I did the simplest, 02 course. Easy.

I cannot tell you much right now about my future deployment, except that I'll be put into a course related to fixing/maintaining vehicles or weapons, the spealisation being unkown as of now, and the name of the school/center is illegal for me to tell you (orders).

But I could become an armorer!:D

Good to hear you're OK

Don't think there's a future in civilian life as an armorer in Israel. Suggest vehicle maintenance. Less fun but it pays.

Good on ya'! Especially on BT.

Wish I had the time to post every relpy I wanted to. Guess I may have an over inflated estimation of the value of my opinion. (Come from being a lawyer.)

Congratulations on your training. Too bad you had to get the short version but better than nothing I guess. Good luck in your service.

If you can get it my vote would be the armorer's course. Oh, is your service the usual 3 years plus reserve duty until your 50s or with the short training do you also have your service shortened?
