My 3 bases, Let's see yours!

In a recent magazine, the writer talked about covering your 3 bases with firearms. He said that everyone should have at least one of each of the following: Handgun, rifle, and shotgun. Mine include a Glock 30, Rock River Entry Tactical with a few mods, and a Mossberg 500 Persuader. I thought I would share mine and I know we all like gun pics so please share yours!!

I have a fair number of shotguns, handguns, and rifles, but since I think your going for HS/SD/SHTF "3 bases" guns as opposed to plinking, hunting, collecting, etc, here's mine that fit.

Holy crap, I have to pick only 3???

Well my camera is MIA at the moment so no pics right now of them together.

Rem 700 ADL .30-06 with bedding job, limbsaver pad, Nikon BDC scope and iron sights as backup. Leupold standard bases. I can have the scope off in less than 15 seconds with a multitool if I have to. Sub MOA accurate with 150 gr. Ballistic tips or Corelokts.

Rem 870 20" IC Rifle sighted with +2 capacity and 6 shot sidesaddle

Ruger KP345PR with Streamlight TLR-1

Runners up would be several other 870's or mossberg shotguns or my 11-87. My other 700 in .243. My other Ruger .45's or one of my Ruger .357's.

tough choices.

That is a gorgeous peice (the 556), when did you get it? How does it shoot?

I could circle the whole diamond a couple/few times. :) But I suppose, among others, I could cover the bases with my CZ 75 SP01, Saiga-12, and AR15.

Interchangeable:
Mosin Nagant / SKS / Sporter Mauser
.410 Savage bolt action that I may not be able to care less about.
CZ52 / S&W .357 revolver
I pretty much got it.

JRFoxx- is that shotgunknife what you cut your steak with?
 
It would seem I cover a couple other guys bases as well.... lol.... but the three I would rely on if I had to make a choice.....

Ruger P89 9mm handgun
AR-15 flat top w/iron/scope/Aimpoint options
Model 870 12 ga shotgun

for the guy next to me I have
S&W 686 revolver
SKS
and an 870

for the next guy I am reduced to
Colt Navy BP revolver
Marlin lever action 30/30
and he'd have to share a shotgun

The next several guys would only get a rifle.... sucks to be them....

A Saiga in 7.62x39 is on its way to beef up my "rifle" base with some semi action. (It's a pun, get it?)

ETA: That foot at the top of the photo is the number one base. One look at the face attached to that foot and people just melt.

I'm also looking for a spork to mount on it, if anyne knows where to find one:D

I just figured for $20 for the bayo, it was a kinda neat accessory for a shotgun, and could posibly have some use too. I'd rather have my shotgun be a spear than a club,if it somehow couldn't fire.:D

What's that light on your Benelli, and how does it attach? I've got a Nova set up exactly like yours, minus the light. I like everything about it, but nobody makes an aftermarket forend w/ light attachment for it. It looks like whatever you've got on there doesn't have any cords dangling between the light and the forend, which is definitely a plus.
