I agree with rcmodel that commie ammo is for commie guns. The steel cased ammo especially is hard on NATO extractors. And yes their tolerances are very generous compared to NATO standards.

Aside from that I am not happy with Rugers reply. Though I have heard of some NATO guns printing on Commie ammo and not making it go bang.

I would also pull that puppy apart and thoroughly check for cosmoline or grease in your bolt.

Wolf ammo only goes bang about 40% of the time in all 4 of my Mini-30's. American made stuff fires every time.

i had a mini-30 and it worked great with US ammo, but would only fire about half of the wolf rounds i tried. its because wolf has harder primers.

tango i guess i look at it like this. All rich people are usually about nuts anyway especially the brilliant ones. Bill ruger was no exception to that. If you quit buying rugers what are you going to buy. Smiths are said to be anti gun. Just about every gun manufacture out there with the exception of ruger now is selling products made overseas. Im not a ruger nut like some but i do buy quite a few of them. At least my money is going to an american company and staying in america
