I've been wearing my brand new Supertuck Deluxe every day for about 10 days or so. Very comfortable! Very concealable! I carry a Sig 239 in it and it just disappears. However, walking down the hall of my office, I make quite a racket. It squeaks and creeks and sounds almost like wet shoes. Is this a normal part of the break-in process for this holster? Does it go away? My belt is made by DeSantis for the purpose of carry.

Thanks. Admittedly, this is my first leather IWB with the exception of a soft Bianchi.

You're hearing the leather rubbing against either your firearm or the hardware attached to the leather panel. Try a bit of parafin wax everywhere metal meets leather. Lightly rub it on, DO NOT melt it in.

My crossbreed came with a letter, the letter contains information on the squeaking.

"You may notice your holster squeaking some when you first start wearing it. This can be alleviated or lessened considerably by the application of some leather conditioner or saddle soap on the front of the holster; baby power [sic] can also help with this. Breaking it in will also help. Some of our customers have found that placing those little felt tabs on the back of the clips renders their holster virtually silent. Give it a fair chance to work for you and you will be very satisfied with your purchase. "

Good call. I guess I should have saved the directions. It is much quieter now. I rubbed some birthday candles under the clips.

I use powder (baby/talcum/gold bond/etc...). It's irratating but, it works and I like leather. I've read it does dry the leather out, though. Every so often, I clean it, and treat with Obenauf's LP. Maybe once or twice a year? Then re-powder.

I don't have that brand of holster but similar, a Galco King Tuck and I have never heard any noise, even when it was new. I do however, do not use the clips over the belt, but under it. The clips are over my jeans and under my belt. I doubt I could get the clips over the belt as I wear a western style ranger belt (think double thick). This may be why I have no noise, but don't now why for sure. LM

Just seeing in the OP has experienced a change for the good or bad? I'm still waiting on my STD but was curious if anything new developed
