I don't know why, but my trigger finger gets sore after shooting around 20 rounds through my PCR. It's a sensation like something's been pounding on it- sorta like the feeling in the palm after shooting a bunch of hot loads in a tiny gun. This also happens with the RAMI, but to a lesser degree. Since they have the same triggers, I'm imagining that it's probably unique to this design.

What exactly might be causing this in my finger?

Its the very bottom sharp edge of the trigger getting you....same thing happens to me when Im not used to the trigger. My CZ40B does the same thing when I dont shoot them alot. If you have a trigger job done, have them round/smooth the bottom of the trigger and its sharp edges.
Shoot well....

I have noticed the same thing with a Rami, and a 75 retro.

IMO the trigger is too short, and your finger is getting pinched between it and the bottom of the trigger guard, in recoil it is double pinched.

I love CZ's - they are easily my favorite platform besides maybe the 1911 (real close) but those damn curvy triggers they're using now are just awful, IMHO. I get the same thing with mine. Now as soon as I get a new CZ I immediately order an 'old-style' trigger from CZ and replace them before I do anything with them.

As I understand it they use this new trigger to decrease the amount of finger travel for the DA stroke and reset but they are just awful. The bottom of the trigger is sharp as PCRCCW indicated and it also extends more underneath your finger as well.

Just call CZ and order a new 'old-style' trigger and replace it - you'll thank yourself for doing so!

Gee, I like my PO1 trigger. I also like the old ones, too. Definately hook up with Mike over at CZ-USA and get a new "old style" trigger.

Is it easy to replace on my own? I may try this on my RAMI.

This trigger thing is really annoying. I really think I'm going to try to sell the PCR. It doesn't seem to do the full size or the small size stuff well enough for me to keep it, especially when it hurts to shoot more than a couple of mags.
