Being of limited means when I started shooting about 4 years ago, I of course turned to ComBloc weapons such as the CZ52 and Makarovs. I still have a major soft-spot for them, even more so now that the supply seems to be rapidly drying up. (At the last two shows I went to, I did not see a single CZ-52 or formerly-common Bulgarian Makarov for sale.)
So, since it seems unlikely I'll be buying any more of these wonderful pieces in the near future, here's a pic of my collection of handguns made by the former Dirty Commies.
Pictured are my three CZ-52's. One is chromed by Classic Arms, with custom black grips, one is in the original grey finish with custom OD grips, and the third is in the re-arsenaled parkerized finish with walnut grips. To the left of those are my Bulgarian Makarov with "Black Star" grips, my FEG SMC-918 (Hungarian PPK-copy chambered for 9x18 Mak, my current carry piece, along with a KelTec P32), and my Russian commercial hi-cap Makarov.
All are chambered in the original 7.62x25 for the CZ's, or 9x18 Mak for the others.
Anybody else got a Commie collection?
