My EDC is a Spyderco Native plain edge in S30V. What's your's?

I also have added a few blades since January. The one that has me the most tickled is the SOG Access Card 2.0. I love this little knife and it is a lot tougher than it looks.

I have to admit my edc knives seldom vary from a Case peanut, with a Victorinox classic on my keyring. Sometimes I'll have a sak bantam or recruit in my pocket. I like small inconspicous pocket knives. Sometimes theres a cheap box cutter around.

Updated EDC: Bandanna, microfiber cloth, Fossil aviators, Vic Electrician Plus, Bosca wallet, Breitling Superocean Steelfish.

This thread really has me pining for a Benchmade though.

My EDC is usually one of these: Cold Steel Roach Belly (usually), Cold Steel Finn Bear, Cold Steel Candian Belt Knife, Cold Steel Ti- Lite. Usually anything by Cold Steel fits me just fine. Ive been pining for one of these though: CRKT Crawford Kasper Dragon. I usually dont go with a folder unless its the Ti- Lite. Very good selections by everyone on this thread so far!

Yeah that Black Bear is a good one, too bad Texas has a 5.5" law... theres so many good ones out there that are longer than the law here allow.

My EDC of a Native has suffered from a few mutations. The first was to the also-S30V Buck 347 Vantage Pro in late Feb:

The next perturbation was the Benchmade BM 635BK mini-Skirmish in S30V & Ti:

The final stop... a regular Benchmade BM 630 Skirmish:

They kept getting bigger... my wallet got a lot lighter... then, an epiphany... the stinking $40 Spydie Native my wife shocked me with over two years ago was just right! I've got some nice knives now... almost spent what a Sebbie would have cost! The Native rules.

I recently started carrying my Cold Steel Kobun again. Great knife for the price, not sure if the still make this one or not. I think its basically the same as the Recon Tanto, but Im 100% on that.
The Kobun was 5.5" and the Recon Tanto was 7".

Well I sure feel under dressed now, the only knife that I carry every day is a Gerber EAB.

Hey....it cuts don't it? That's all that matters.:)

But I'm working on getting a sypderco endura.

Great choice.

I have a (very inexpensive) Endura sized G10 Byrd Cara Cara for a beater folder. Or for when I go somewhere that I can't legally carry one of my fixed blades but still want/need a one hand knife. Spyderco quality is top notch...even on the budget Chinese Byrd line.

I carry a large Case Sodbuster that is crawling up on 40 years old. It's early 1970's production with black compostion handles, stainless blade, and a brass liner lock. I've been looking for another locking one with a carbon steel blade, but no joy on that as yet.

Im just wondering, and have posted a different thread, but does anyone have experience with the Benchmade Nimravus? Ive been looking at getting one very seriously but Ive never bought a Benchmade bc the price of the ones I want. IMO the Nimravus is a great looking knife and seems good for my EDC but I have no experience with this company. Is this a good knife for the money and steel used?

Just got this one in the mail yesterday... Remington Mini Bullet Trapper... blades even have 1/2 stops , and a lanyard hole for deep pocket carry ;)

My EDC is a Swiss Champ. I do also carry a Native alot of the time but the one that goes in my pocket when I grab my keys is the Champ. It's got alot of things that I know will get me through the day from tightening a screw to cutting the sipping straw for my 5 year old son when we eat out to writing a check if I forget a regular pen.

Before that I carried either an Old Timer or Uncle Henry that mu dad bought me for my 7th birthday back in 1977. Now they stay in my sock drawer and come out every so often for a touchup.
