Eightball, I am glad I am not the only one who scanned the pic and immediately fixed on the Dragunovs. My skills might be lacking in the area, but a quick glance of the mags seems to indicate to me that they are actually Drags, not just Romaks with fancy furniture. In fact I think top might be a Tiger? Correct? Maybe? Possibly? Probably not? O well. It was a guess.

Though, that one in x54R has a very short barrel, I wouldn't be too quick to label it as "the real deal" Dragunov. Though, I could be mistaken. But MAN, I WANT ONE!!!!!

And, oh yeah, Lexus--how are you liking the 8x42 PSOP scope mounted on the .308 version vs the 4x PSO mounted on the x54R? Having luck zeroing it in? Because the 8x on my Saiga is murder to try and zero--still at it, months later.....

....my neighbor? Suspect Katrina would not have been much of an issue with that collection. I also suspsect the Natl Guardsmen confiscating weapons would have been impressed with that collection, and a bit nervous pondering civilians actually exercising their rights to bear arms.

Swat would sweat, and yes that's a calico. I only know because I just fondled one last week. Neat gun, but it was only a 22LR in the one I looked at.

Looks like a Daewoo K2 assault rifle. And the shorter one must be the K1 model.

Glad you guys are enjoying the photo. I don't get out often enough to test these head to head. I do like them all but it's a bear dragging any more than handful of rifles to range for some fun time. Of course, all the guns want to come to range with me every time. That rifle on the Right, 2nd from top would be the Izhmash Tigr, which is a short barrel version of the SVDragunov.

Of all of them, I really enjoy the 5.56 variants, particular the Daewoo K2, very balanced and clean shooter. AR180B is always a clean shooter, a little light and fragile for my taste. The AR15A1 and A2 are just your average shooters, I do like the A2 better with the refined design. The 308 rifles are more less ergonomic, the L1A1 clone is nice but overly long, while HK is more balanced but harsher with recoil. AK is always fun as a plinker and mag dumping platform. Lastly, the SVD clones: Russian Tigr and Chinese NDM are nice long range hitters. I tend to favor 308 NDM over 54R Tigr, but the long barrel is not very handy to wield. I can't imagine how they carry it in the field.

I do hope to add a few more typical battle rifles, such as StG58, Imbel FAL, which I have parts kits for. M4gery is definitely in the plan but I'm wondering if I should just get a piston driven AR instead. FN FS2000 and Sig 556 are also on the "want" list, but probably once the models are more mature. Galil ARM would be a nice but hard to find though. What other EBR am I missing?
