I finally picked a Colt Diamondback and ended up buying this gem. I know the box and papers aren't correct for this gun with a born date of 1967, but she was just to clean to pass up.
Nice find,I wouldnt have passed that up either ! I dont have the snake bite but I do have an older in great cond. Colt lawman MK III .357 snubber and I fell in love with it when a friend wanted to give it up.Now I want another snub nose pistol to start my collection Good luck with your new snubber, it's a nice piece !
I only have two Diamondbacks...a .22, 6" and a .38, 4". Tha only one that likes them more than myself...is my grandson. I think he would shoot that .22 all day.
When I got the .38...ummm about '73, I remember how hard it was to choose between the snub and the 4". I like 'em both and you found a good one!
To top it off, Colts work great for left hand shooters.
