Got it yesterday morning...Broke it down, polished the feed ramp and chamber, cleaned it,lubed it and racked the slide about 1000 times according to the prep and lube chart on the Kahr Forum...Hit the range w/ 250 rounds of WWB and Federal 124 gr FMJ's...No malfunctions what so ever...After about 3 to 4 mags it really started to loosen up and flow...trigger is smooth, not as long as my PF9...I'm back to the range Friday w/ some SD ammo this time...Gonna run some Speer GD's,critical defense, and some hydra shock that I have here...Hopefully all will go well again...Got 2 extra 6 round mags this morning...This is my first Kahr and I'm liking it !

How's the recoil/comfort shooting that little guy? Is it a gun you can shoot for a decent amount before your hand gets beat up, or one only for shorter sessions?

Nice piece! I think either one of those or its big brother CW9 is going to replace my LCP and be my next pistol purchase. Did you look at the CW9 before buying the CM? If so, any thoughts on how they compare feel wise? I've only shot the CW, and it was a sweet shooting pistol for its size.

Congratulations! I have one on order and waiting for it to come in. I've already ordered an extra mag too.

A while back I traded my CW9 (kicking myself a bit) because I had a knack for bumping the mag-release (about every-other mag) while shooting. I couldn't stand the idea of doing that in a defensive situation, so I lost my "comfort" with that piece.

That is a nice pistol. Where do you do your shooting in OKC if you don't mind me asking?

Not too bad for a gun this size...Very controlable...

Yes,and I like it as well...This is just a little smaller which is what I was looking for...They both feel good to me...The CW9 is a little larger in the grip...

Usually H&H...sometimes we go out to the free outdoor range in Lexington..

Kahr's are great pistols....and the CM9 is next on my list(grabbing one as soon as I find the gun locally).
Glad to read yours is an ace...So far all the reports on the CM9 have been positive.

I'm a bit worried about the mag release as well, I'm a lefty and it looks like my trigger finger may lay on top of the mag release, possibly dropping the mag, I've had that happen with Sigs. Also since I'm a lefty, the mag release will be facing away from my body when carried, I'm worried that the mag release could be pressed if carried in my back pocket. How hard is the mag release to depress, and have any other lefty's had either of these possible problems with any of the Kahr models?

Looks like another winner from Kahr. My wife bought me a CW9 for valentines day. I preferred the slightly longer grip on the CW9 which is why I did not wait for the CM9 but I am still interested..... :D

Nice little gun! Chances are it would have run just fine without the polish job, and voiding your warranty, but ya gotta do what makes you comfortable;)

I'm a lefty as well...not a problem at all...

Running a polish pad over the feed ramp and inside the chamber doesn't void anything...They polish it before it leaves the factory.. They're fine with you doing it as part of the prep and lube as long as you're not removing any metal or altering the function of the gun...
