That is one darn fine looking stick!

GAP sure does make some accurate and pretty rifles.

Enjoy, and tell us how she shoots.

If you can afford the house, the rifle is easy! I'm so jealous. Weren't you tempted to get a caliber that is...............interesting? And are you getting a can?

Well this is my first precision rifle so i wanted to go with the most common sniping round. Also the ammo is very reasonable compared to a 300wm or .338 etc etc. I am going to try the Badger brake which is supposed to be very good. But knowing myself i know i am gonna end up with a can:)

Nice rifle, and don't let anyone give you any crap about going with a .308 either. My SSG 69 loves 175gr Matchkings, although I hand load to save money.

You will also love your Nightforce, I have a 3.5-15X50 mounted on the SSG and it's been great. I wish mine had the zero stop, but it doesn't so I have to be mindful of that.

That is one sexy beast. That is very near the setup I am saving for as I type. Please post a range report with pictures.

My buddy has a similar rifle from GA and we shot it at a match this weekend at 300 yards. My group was 4 inches with the flyers, and 3 inches without.
I scored a 195 out of 200 with 15 10's and 7 X's. He uses 169 grain Federal Gold Metal so give it a try. I love that rifle and I'll be selling some of my gear to get one. We were shooting prone, so I'm betting that off a bench the groups could have been smaller.

Good luck and shoot safe.
